The manuscript should include the title in Chinese and English, authors' names, authors' institutions, abstract, keywords, as well as the Chinese Library Classification number, literature identification code, main body, and references. Please follow the guidelines below, and you can also refer to the "2022 Manuscript Template" (see the Download Center page on the Chinese version of the website):
The title should be concise and highlight the innovative aspects of the article. It should not exceed 20 Chinese characters, and the Chinese and English titles should be consistent. Avoid using redundant words such as "A study of..." or "Investigations of...". If the research involves specific species or regions, this should be reflected in the title.
2. Author Information
Authors' names should be separated by commas. When submitting, please clearly indicate all author information, including names, institutions, addresses, and postal codes. In the footer of the first page of the article, provide the biographies of the first and corresponding author, including name, year of birth, gender, ethnicity (except Han), degree, professional title, field of study, area of research, and e-mail address.
3. English Abstract
For Specific requirements, please refer to 《广西植物》对英文摘要的写作要求 (see the "Download Center" on the website of Chinese version).
Each article should have 5-8 keywords, which should be consistent in Chinese and English.
5. Funded Projects
Include the name and number of the fund as a footnote on the first page of the body of the report. English translation is required. If there are multiple funds, list the national fund first, followed by the provincial funds, separated by semicolons and ending with a period.
6. Main Text
Introduce the research background, clearly state the scientific problems and research objectives, accurately and concisely state the nature and scope of the problem discussed, and explain the value of this research (this section may be omitted).
6.2 Materials and Methods
Explain in detail how the research was conducted.
6.3 Results and Analysis
Summarize important trends or patterns; try to use words rather than figures and tables, and place figures and tables after the appropriate text; avoid discussing the content of the Discussion section.
Mainly explain and infer the research results in the article, comment on the importance and innovation of the reported results, compare them with other related research, explain whether the results support or oppose certain viewpoints, point out new insights into the original conclusions, or infer general rules from experimental data. If necessary, point out the shortcomings of the experiment and any unresolved questions.
7. Review Articles
There are no uniform requirements for review articles, but they should grasp the forefront of scientific issues, have a clear logical level, and propose their own new insights.
Only for major contributors, and authors must get written permission from the person being thanked.
Avoid using maps with national or provincial boundaries. If necessary, please download the latest version of the map file from the National Mapping Bureau's "Map Service" website as the base map, and mark the audit number of the map.
Chinese characters in the figure should be in Song font; English and numbers should be in Times New Roman font.
Tables should use a three-line style, with additional horizontal lines added as necessary.
10. Units of Measurement, Symbols, and Scientific Names
Units of measurement are based on the "Legal Units of Measurement of the People's Republic of China". Foreign place names are based on the "World Geographical Names Manual", and names of international organizations are based on the "Translation Manual of the United Nations and Related Organizations". The name of a creature appearing for the first time should be indicated by the Latin name (italics). Statistical symbols (such as P, t, n, etc.) and variable symbols should be in italics.
Please follow the national standard GB/T 7714-2015 "Information and Documentation - Rules for Bibliographic References and Citation of Information Resources". The English journal name should be abbreviated. Please refer to the "SCI Abbreviations and Full Names Comparison" in the download center of the website. The Latin name should be italicized and the name should be in regular font.
